Dreamshapers is a Life-Shaping ministry that is biblically based on the truth that Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life (John 14:6) and that "He seeks to lead us and guide us into all truth by the Holy Spirit" (John 3:16). Truth about who we are in Christ is what we need to know.

We believe, according to the Bible, that man is a three part being - spirit, soul and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23) and when a person is born again by accepting Jesus as the Lord and Savior of their life, the spirit is completely redeemed and complete through the atoning work of Christ. The soul, which includes the mind will and emotions, is in the process of being redeemed through the renewing of the mind according to Romans 12:1&2 which says "I beseech ye, therefore, brethren by the mercies of God that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice holy and acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service and do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." (KJV)

1 Corinthians 6:19 "The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and belongs to Christ." We will live out this truth when lies are exposed that have held individuals' captive.

The Bible declares that "Jesus is the Wonderful Counselor" and that "Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever". Through the process of Life-Shaping, the Wonderful Counselor is given the freedom to show individuals the root causes of their personal and relational conflicts, the causes of financial lack and other undesirable life patterns. This is done by allowing the Holy Spirit to show areas of the soul that have been wounded.

Dreamshapers believes that we act as we think and that the behavior that locks individuals into cycles of defeat is a direct result of the lies, misinterpretation of events and emotional pain that has been stored in the mind about God, themselves and others. Their life has been shaped by the pattern of the world rather than the life Jesus desires them to experience.

1 Corinthians 13:11 Paul said "When I was a child I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought (reasoned) as a child, but when I became a man I put away childish things."

Unfortunately, many born again children of God are continuing to live, speak and understand life through their wounded soul that needs health brought to it so that they can know who they are in Christ and can have a successful journey in life. Jesus said "You will know the truth and the truth will set you free." What is the truth? It is the absence of lies and we all know who the father of lies is!

Proverbs 23:7 says "As a man thinks in his heart, so is he." An individual's life will go in the direction of their dominant thoughts.

In order to become "free indeed" and to walk in newness of life, we have to be transformed by the renewal of our mind. It is the emotional part of our mind that carries the pain that needs the Lord's intervention. Without the Wonderful Counselor revealing the truth we have found it futile to try to talk people out of their false beliefs and faulty thinking.

The Life-Shaping experience is based on the Sovereignty Of God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask, imagine or think. The power that works within us, Dreamshapers believes, has not been realized because man's ways of counseling are not God's ways. They have often been based on what man believes to be true by assumption rather than what Jesus knows to be truth.

Often there are situations stored in individual's memory that is having a major effect on their life. Many times during the Life-Shaping experience we have had people say they would never have believed a memory Jesus brought to them was the reason their life had been so negatively influenced, however, this knowledge has time and time again proven to be the catalyst that set them "free indeed".

Just as a house has many rooms, our mind has many compartments with lies and experiences that have taken root which must be cleaned out so that true freedom can come.

The powerful reality of Life-Shaping is that it is not dependent on the wisdom of the person ministering to an individual but the truth that comes through allowing Jesus to present His truth.

Isaiah 62:10 "Go through, go through the gates (walls)! Prepare the way for the people. Build up. Build up the highway! Take out the stones (lies and stumbling blocks)! Lift up a standard for the people."

Once people have lies and wounds healed, they are able to receive the love and truth of God and accept more fully the love of others and are able to live their lives in the present with love, hope and faith for a more abundant life!
